Job summary

2i Recruit Ltd is seeking a commercially focused finance professional to join our growing team as a Management Accountant. This role combines management accounting, forecasting, and commercial business partnering to support senior leadership with decisions that drive profitability and growth.

You will produce monthly management accounts, develop budgets and models, provide insights for strategic decisions, and help improve reporting and processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or part-qualified in progress.
• Experience in management accounting, commercial finance, or business partnering.
• Strong forecasting, modelling and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into commercial recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and commercial reporting
• Analyse profitability, margins, KPIs, and business performance
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Provide insight to support strategic and commercial decisions
• Prepare board reporting packs and present findings to stakeholders
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance
• Oversee VAT returns, audits, and financial controls
• Improve reporting, systems, automation, and business processes
