Kennedy Pearce Consulting is seeking a Management Accountant for a growing manufacturing business in Kent. You will join the finance team, delivering monthly management accounts and providing insightful commentary to support commercial decisions.

The ideal candidate is part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified, with at least 2 years in management accounting or finance business partnering. Manufacturing background is advantageous, and strong Excel and ERP skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or Qualified.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within management accounting, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insight.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, FMCG or product-based environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insight and commentary to support business performance discussions.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Analyse costs, margins and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist with month-end close activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop reporting and processes to enhance visibility of financial performance.

A growing and established manufacturing business based in Kent is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial finance skills within a fast-paced operational environment.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and providing valuable insight into business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
