Job summary

Lotus Cars is seeking a Commercial Business Analyst to join the Group IT Department in Coventry. You will bridge business stakeholders with technology teams, shaping Order to Delivery and Aftersales platforms to improve efficiency, revenue and customer/dealer experience.

You will partner with Sales, Aftersales, Operations and IT, translating requirements into actionable solutions and driving continuous improvement through product backlogs and UAT support.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst, Commercial Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner or similar role.
• Proven track record delivering technology-enabled business transformation.
• Experience with commercial processes, sales operations, order management or Aftersales.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into successful technology solutions.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent business process mapping and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions.
• Document current and future business processes (As-Is and To-Be).
• Develop clear business requirements, functional specs, user stories and workflow diagrams.
• Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for digital transformation.
• Ensure requirements are defined, prioritised and aligned with commercial objectives.
• Support business cases with benefits, risks, costs and ROI.
• Validate proposed solutions against business requirements.
