Job summary

Lloyd & Whyte, proudly part of Benefact Group, are seeking a Commercial Insurance Consultant to join our Affinity General Insurance team in Taunton. You will build strong relationships with commercial clients, providing expert advice and tailored insurance solutions to help protect their businesses.

Our client base spans a variety of sectors, offering exposure to diverse insurance risks. You will support clients through renewals, identify opportunities for growth, and contribute to high levels

Qualifications

• Previous general insurance experience (preferably within Commercial insurance).
• Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance qualification.
• Confidence building rapport over the telephone for an excellent client experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, positive approach; thrives in a fast-paced environment and drives growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive renewal service to retain clients at renewal with insurers.
• Build strong client relationships and advise on insurance requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients including renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Negotiate terms with insurers with in-house underwriting to secure suitable cover.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and drive growth.
