Job summary

NJR Recruitment is seeking an Account Handler for a Manchester-based insurance brokerage. You will manage clients' insurance portfolios, ensuring optimal coverage and high-quality service with strong technical knowledge of Property risks.

Responsibilities include renewals, placements, mid-term changes, and gathering documentation for renewal meetings. You will maintain Acturis records, build relationships, negotiate effectively, and contribute to a proactive, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally with Property and Construction knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable attitude with ability to build relationships.
• Cert CII qualification or willingness to complete with company support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering insurance solutions.
• Manage renewals, placements, and mid-term adjustments for client portfolios.
• Gather information and documentation for renewal meetings and keep records up to date on Acturis.
• Professionally negotiate terms to secure the best coverage and value for clients.
