Job summary

NJR Recruitment is seeking a Senior Account Handler for a specialist insurance broker serving Healthcare and Hospitality. The role is based in a brand-new central Manchester office with a hybrid pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

You will manage new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments, analyse risks and premiums, negotiate with insurers, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring FCA compliance. Salary £35,000–£45,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Cert CII qualification or progress toward it.
• Healthcare or hospitality sector experience advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments with accuracy.
• Analysing risks, premiums, and policy wording to ensure appropriate cover.
• Negotiating terms with insurers and providing tailored solutions.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships and clear communication.
