Job summary

Worley’s 2027 UK Graduate Programme offers a two-year Commercial Graduate position across our UK offices, including London, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to contract management, commercial strategy, project performance and risk management while working with experienced teams.

Qualifications

• Final year of study or graduated within the past two years in an accredited degree.
• Achieved or working towards a minimum 2:1 honours degree.
• Degrees in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Law, Construction Management or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in commercial decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Must have full right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting commercial managers in the preparation and submission of commercially sound and robust proposals, addressing customer requirements.
• Working with commercial managers in the management of the prime contract with a diverse portfolio of customers and projects.
• Assisting with project forecasting and reporting, risk and opportunity management, and performance analysis.
• Contributing to contract reviews, identifying contractual risks and developing the required mitigation strategies.
• Working closely with project, engineering, procurement and finance teams to help deliver successful project outcomes, in compliance with the prime contract.
• Developing an understanding of commercial strategy, governance, compliance and project controls within a global organization.
• Building strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills through exposure to clients, partners and project teams.
• Developing your business acumen, understanding the cost basis and pricing build-up under different forms of contractual and commercial models.
