Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a fast-moving consumer-led business, in Bournemouth, in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager on an initial 3-4 month interim basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Review daily, weekly and monthly trading results, analyse figures and highlight risks and opportunities to the business to ensure appropriate action is taken, including reviewing key trading initiatives.
2. Prepare commercial analysis for the month-end board pack slides, ensuring that all trading explanations accurately reflect the key messages of the month.
3. Budgeting & forecasting – work with the head of commercial finance and the commercial team to translate the commercial plans into robust financial plans, which will then be used to manage and monitor performance.
4. Pricing modelling and insights – prepare price modelling as required to support the commercial decisions around price actions, with follow-up reporting, review, and insights into subsequent results.
5. Process Improvements – proactively review all tasks on an ongoing basis to drive process improvements, streamlining and simplifying reporting requirements.

Key Skills/Experience include:

• Qualified Accountant
• Business partnering experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience of working effectively in high-quality “blue chip” environments and ability to operate strategically as well as in a “hands-on” way on a day-to-day basis.
