MRJ Recruitment Limited is seeking a Commercial Leader to take ownership of a strategically important area. You’ll align Product, Engineering, Data, CRM, Marketing and Ops to deliver measurable growth in a high-impact, consumer-facing business.
London is preferred; Manchester may be considered with 1 day per week in the office. You’ll report into senior leadership and drive customer value, growth metrics and financial performance across the business area.
I’m working on a confidential senior opportunity with one of the UK’s best-known digital consumer businesses.
They’re looking for a Commercial Leader to take ownership of a strategically important part of the business and operate with the mindset and accountability of a business owner.
You’ll be responsible for setting the strategy, understanding the customer, owning the commercial performance and bringing together Product, Engineering, Data, CRM, Marketing, Commercial and Operations to deliver measurable growth.
You won't necessarily have everyone reporting into you.
Your ability to create clarity, build conviction and mobilise people across the organisation will be just as important as formal line management.
GM / Business Unit Leadership / Commercial / Product / Strategy & Transformation / Ecommerce / Marketplace / Founder
The common denominator is commercial ownership.
Experience in high-volume B2C digital products, ecommerce or marketplaces would be a strong advantage, but it's not essential.
I'm more interested in what you've owned and the commercial impact you've created than whether you've worked in a particular industry.
The business is around £350m revenue, and you'll be taking ownership of an area that
represents a genuinely significant part of the overall business.
London preferred | Manchester considered with 1 day per week in the office
If you're currently operating at Director / VP / GM level and want genuine ownership of a major customer and commercial opportunity, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation.
