Job summary

Highbridge Talent is recruiting an experienced Commercial Director for a leading UK plant, construction, industrial, quarry and heavy equipment business. You will own the commercial strategy, lead sales, business development and key account activity to drive profitable growth and long-term performance.

Reporting to the MD, you will win new business, grow strategic accounts, negotiate deals and mentor the commercial team while collaborating with Operations and Finance to shape the company's

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading sales, business development or commercial functions.
• Track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships.
• Experience leading and developing sales or commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the overall commercial strategy and growth plan
• Identify and win new business opportunities across the plant and construction markets
• Grow and develop existing strategic customer accounts
• Build strong relationships with senior customers, suppliers and industry partners
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies and tender submissions
• Identify new markets, sectors and opportunities for expansion

The Opportunity

We are working with an established and growing business operating across the plant, construction, industrial, quarry and heavy equipment sectors, who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Director to lead their next stage of growth.

This is a key leadership position for a commercially driven individual who can take ownership of the commercial strategy, develop new opportunities and increase market share across the sector.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead sales, business development and key account activity, with a clear focus on profitable growth, customer relationships and long-term commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
