Job summary

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment in Manchester is seeking a Commercial Claims Executive to join our team. You will manage a portfolio of commercial claims from notification through to settlement, negotiating with insurers and coordinating with loss adjusters, brokers and clients to deliver the best possible outcomes.

This role blends technical claims handling with strong client-facing skills in a collaborative, experienced team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial claims experience within an insurance brokerage is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage and claims procedures.
• Experience managing claims through to settlement, including more complex losses.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Confidence dealing directly with commercial clients and challenging insurer decisions where appropriate.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• CII qualifications, or progress towards them, would be advantageous but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement.

• Act as a trusted adviser to clients throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate with insurers to achieve fair and timely settlements.
• Liaise with loss adjusters, legal representatives, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and site visits following significant losses.
• Work closely with Account Executives and Claims Handlers to deliver an exceptional client experience.
