Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

A client based on the South Coast near Brighton, a leading commercial catering equipment company serving the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer. The company offers full turnkey solutions including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role is available due to ongoing demand and new contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide service, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
2. Attend sites across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
3. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances including cook line equipment and ware washing systems.
4. Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications are required.
• Electrical catering experience is acceptable.
• Minimum experience working on electrical catering equipment.
• Live within Kent, ideally Maidstone, with the ability to travel across Kent.
• Industry experience in commercial catering equipment is essential.
• Experience with electrical and gas catering equipment maintenance and repair.
• Full UK driving licence.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour work week with door-to-door travel paid.
• On-call rota: 1 in 6 weeks with paid retainer.
• Company van, fuel card, and personal use allowed.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x rates.
• Holiday entitlement: 21 days rising to 25 days after 3 years, plus bank holidays.
