Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

A client based on the South Coast near Brighton, a leading company in commercial catering equipment supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer. This role involves providing service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on various commercial catering and refrigeration equipment, including fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.

The successful candidate will attend sites across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. Essential qualifications include Comcat 1, 3, and 5, or relevant electrical catering experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering equipment such as cook line appliances and ware washing systems.
• Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.

Minimum requirements:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications or electrical catering experience.
• Live within Kent, ideally Maidstone, with the ability to travel across Kent.
• Industry experience in commercial catering equipment.
• Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair and maintenance.
• Full UK driving license.

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour work week with door-to-door travel paid.
• 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with paid retainer.
