Job description

Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

A leading commercial catering equipment company on the South Coast near Brighton is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer due to increased demand and new contracts. The company provides comprehensive solutions including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations across the catering, hospitality, and public sectors.

Responsibilities:

1. Service, maintenance, and breakdown repair of catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
2. Attend sites across the M23 Corridor, including Croydon, Redhill, and Crawley, servicing restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
3. Perform maintenance and fault diagnosis on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing systems. Experience with Rational and dishwashers is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications; electrical catering experience also accepted.
• Experience with electrical and gas catering equipment repair and maintenance.
• Live within a commutable distance to Croydon, Redhill, or Crawley.
• Full UK driving license.
• Industry experience with commercial catering equipment.

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour workweek with door-to-door travel paid.
• 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with paid retainer.
