Job description

A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. The client is a leading company in commercial catering equipment, serving the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They provide full turnkey solutions, including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on various commercial catering and refrigeration equipment.

Role Responsibilities

1. Service, maintenance, and breakdown repair of catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
2. Attend sites across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
3. Carrying out fault finding and repairs on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing.

Candidate Requirements

• Comcat qualifications (Comcat 1, 3, and 5) are essential; candidates with electrical catering experience are also considered.
• Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.
• Minimum experience in electrical catering equipment repair and maintenance.
• Live within Kent, ideally Maidstone, with the ability to travel across Kent.
• Full UK driving license.
• Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience.

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
