Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

A leading commercial catering equipment company based on the South Coast near Brighton is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer. The company supplies the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, offering full turnkey solutions including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations of all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Provide service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
2. Attend sites across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
3. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing systems.

Requirements

• Comcat qualifications (Comcat 1, 3, and 5) or electrical catering experience.
• Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.
• Minimum experience working on electrical catering equipment.
• Live within Kent, ideally Maidstone, with the ability to travel across Kent.
• Full UK driving license.
• Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience.

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour workweek with door-to-door travel paid.
• 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with paid retainer.
