Job description

A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. The client is a leading commercial catering equipment company serving the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They offer full turnkey solutions, including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations for all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
2. Attend sites across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
3. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications are required.
• Electrical catering experience is accepted.
• Experience with Rational and dishwashers is advantageous.
• Minimum experience working on electrical catering equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live within Kent, ideally Maidstone, with the ability to travel across Kent.
• Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience.
• Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair and maintenance.

Benefits:

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour work week with door-to-door travel paid.
• 1 in 6 weeks on-call rota with paid retainer.

• Overtime at 1.5x and 2x rates.
