Job summary

Philip Morris International in London (Hammersmith Office) is seeking a senior learning and development strategist to shape and deliver the capability strategy for the commercial organisation. You will design end-to-end learning journeys for Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers, applying adult-learning principles and coaching to drive performance.

In this role, you will partner with senior stakeholders, translate insights into solutions, and manage budgets in line with PMI standards.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience in learning and development strategy, design, and delivery.
• Proven experience building capability within commercial, sales, or field-based organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders.
• Expertise in adult learning, coaching methodologies, and digital learning solutions.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Capability Development: Identify capability needs with Commercial Leadership, Talent Management, and P&C, and design end-to-end learning journeys for Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
• Insight-Driven Learning: Conduct capability assessments, spend time in the field, and translate insights into targeted solutions.
• Leadership Coaching & Culture: Coach field leaders to enhance leadership effectiveness and foster psychological safety and high performance.
• Innovation & Impact: Continuously improve programmes, measure ROI, present insights to senior stakeholders, and manage budgets per PMI standards.
