Octopus Energy Group is seeking a seasoned data analytics leader to guide our UK data commercial team and partner with Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Energy Markets. You will combine hands-on data work with strong leadership to drive insights and business impact.

You will steer strategic analytics, pricing operations, and KPI-driven reporting while coordinating global data initiatives across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a manager of a high-performing data team.
• Hands-on expertise with modern data platforms and analytical tools (especially SQL and python).
• Passion for both hands-on data work and leading teams to deliver insights.
• Strong communication skills to influence non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen, preferably in pricing, margin optimisation, and/or growth analytics.
• A track record of delivering actionable insights that drive measurable business impact.

• Lead UK team: Lead, set priorities, coordinate and review the work of a high-performance team of commercial and marketing data analysts.
• Strategic analytics: Use data to guide our understanding of our customers and our competitors; impact UK and global strategy.
• Pricing operations: Enable swift price changes while ensuring competitive deals and regulatory compliance.
• Metrics: Define KPIs and dashboards to show drivers of business performance and churn.
• Global cooperation: Coordinate data teams supporting Octopus' operations globally.
