Job summary

Vertu FM is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer for mobile field service across Cheltenham and Bristol surroundings. The role focuses on HVAC maintenance (PPM and reactive), fault finding, and related building services tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC qualified - Level 2 and F Gas certification are essential.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance (PPM and reactive).
• Must live locally and be willing to travel regionally.
• Full UK driving licence required and essential.
• Good IT skills and strong communication abilities.
• Willingness to work autonomously on site visits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HVAC maintenance, PPM and reactive tasks.
• Travel to dedicated client sites for planned and reactive M&E work.
• Perform tasks such as emergency lighting tests, lamp changes, basic plumbing and fabric work.
• Fault finding and repair of HVAC and related building services while ensuring safety and quality.

Salary £42447 Plus Vehicle, Travel Paid Door to Door and Excellent Package

We are working with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who provide all round building maintenance to services to clients throughout the UK.

Due to continued expansion we are currently looking to recruit a mobile engineer to join the teams

Role

• This role is biased to ac maintenance - planned and reactive, breakdowns, fault finding etc but will include other light works very occassionally.
• You’ll be out and about on the road travelling to your own dedicated sites as our client’s first point of call for PPM and reactive M&E and other general building services maintenance. Tasks could include emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
• HVAC and Air Conditioning maintenance ppm and reactive works
• You’ll enjoy working autonomously, where you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work. Ideally, you will have the ability to confidently carry out a range of other tasks as well.

Person

• You must be HVAC qualified - Level 2/ F Gas
• You will have experience carrying out ppm and reactive maintenance works
• You will have good general knowledge of mechanical/hvac maintenance as well as general fm trades
• You will live locally and happy to travel throughout the region
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication skills
• You must hold a full uk driving licence
