Qualifications

Job description

I am working with a top 50 law firm, supporting them with the recruitment of an experienced Administrator for their corporate team.

Role Responsibilities

Supporting Partners and a team of Secretaries, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the Corporate team
  2. Collaborating closely with team secretaries to provide support and backup
  3. Communicating effectively with a diverse range of clients, from privately owned businesses to private equity and venture capital firms
  4. Responding to and updating clients regularly, handling internal and external enquiries professionally
  5. Showing initiative in responding to queries and proactively seeking solutions
  6. Maintaining compliant and accurate file management and office systems
  7. Carrying out photocopying and scanning in line with the firm's paper-lite and clear desk policies
  8. Ensuring electronic filing is up-to-date and maintained regularly
  9. Proofreading all work for spelling and grammar accuracy
  10. Supporting other secretaries and providing cover as needed
  11. Proficient use of software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel to produce high-standard correspondence and documents
  12. Formatting and presenting documents in house style
  13. Clarifying instructions from fee earners when unclear or deadlines are not explicit
Candidate Requirements

Ideally, you will have 2-3 years of general administration experience. Experience in secretarial or typist roles is advantageous.
