Vickerstock is working in partnership with a long-established and rapidly growing food manufacturer seeking a commercially driven and customer-focused Commercial Account Manager (Retail) to join their dynamic team in Dungannon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in FMCG account management to work across major retail clients and contribute to strategic growth.

Your day-to-day as Commercial Account Manager:

  1. Act as the primary relationship manager for customers, responding to their needs in a responsive and professional manner.
  2. Build relationships and grow sales for the benefit of the company.
  3. Support planning and forecasting with exposure to all aspects of commercial requirements.
  4. Develop business through profitable trading opportunities and contribute to plans for growth and profit.
  5. Develop and implement JBPs for key customers.
  6. Attend client meetings, deliver sales presentations, and prepare reports.
  7. Maintain awareness of company products, processes, and industry product trends.
  8. Support and develop the sales team.
  9. Educated to at least A Level or equivalent; a relevant third-level qualification is advantageous.
  10. Have direct experience trading FMCG to multiple retailers with a clear understanding of UK, Ireland, and European grocery markets, retailer profiles, and propositions.
  11. Possess first-class presentation and communication skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
  12. Have strong numerical and analytical skills and high computer literacy to meet ambitious targets.
  13. Be able to prioritize workload and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  14. Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders to complete projects and briefs.
  15. Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills.
