Commercial Account Handler

Location: Kidderminster

Package: Negotiable + Benefits

As a team, our Kidderminster branch has been growing exceptionally well and is looking to strengthen its highly experienced team with a Commercial Account Handler to ensure clients receive the best outcomes and service possible.

This role involves assisting clients with day-to-day requirements (MTA's, document queries, renewal reviews) and supporting the Account Executives with renewal preparation and new business quotations.

The day to day:

1. Assisting clients with renewals, new business quotations, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering outstanding service.
2. Proactively developing a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to generate new business.
3. Working with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the appropriate cover.
4. Liaising with the broking and support teams to ensure all documentation is accurate.
5. Actively negotiating with Underwriters to secure the best terms.
6. Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
7. Ensuring retention levels and income targets are achieved.
8. Collaborating with the regional management team to meet business objectives and support colleague development.

• Ideally, you will have a solid grounding in the Commercial Insurance market and be looking to advance your career.
• You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and be proficient in Word, Excel, and wider broking platforms (Acturis preferred).
• You should be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and possess strong communication, negotiation, sales, and IT skills.
