Job Description:

We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years, now comprising over 200 people across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MD/CEOs of large organizations, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About you:

• Strong attention to detail for reviewing client documentation to support the quoting process.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts to meet expectations and compliance standards.
• Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention, exceeding customer expectations, and meeting FCA requirements.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, with opportunities for career progression and professional qualification development.
• Ability to process data accurately on relevant systems to support high levels of client service and internal processes.
