Recruiter Managing This Role

A fast-growing independent insurance brokerage is seeking a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team. As a key member of the team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring high-quality service and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. You will manage a diverse range of policies including Motor Trade, Professional Indemnity, Property Owners, Marine, Liability, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily insurance requirements for clients, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and general queries.
  2. Provide professional advice to clients while maintaining excellent service standards.
  3. Prepare detailed fact finds and risk presentations for new business and renewals.
  4. Negotiate terms with insurers, ensuring compliance with FCA and company guidelines.
  5. Attend client and insurer meetings, becoming a vital part of the servicing team.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Previous experience in motor trade insurance is essential, as well as general commercial insurance knowledge.
  2. Experience using Acturis.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  4. CII qualifications (desirable but not essential).
