Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for your next challenge? Do you have an understanding of commercial insurance, with a particular interest in motor trade? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

At Jensten Motor Trade, we’re seeking a Commercial Account Handler to provide exceptional service to our clients, support business growth, and oversee the account handler team. This role offers a great chance to develop your career within a dynamic and expanding insurance broker.

As a leading provider of specialist, exclusive, and cost-effective insurance products, we focus on delivering outstanding service. You’ll work directly with our team in Bexleyheath, with the potential for hybrid working after training.

Key objectives & responsibilities include:
  1. Offer and present insurance solutions, including policies and risk management options, aiming to secure renewals.
  2. Support team performance through regular communication with colleagues and managers, raising concerns and proposing solutions.
  3. Achieve or surpass income retention and policy count targets.
  4. Understand clients’ business operations, opportunities, risks, and their approach to risk management and insurance.
  5. Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations such as FCA.
About you

As an Account Handler, you should have strong communication and written skills, with excellent attention to detail. You are eager to develop professionally, with access to career progression, training, and development within the role and the insurance industry. You will also have:

  1. Commercial Insurance experience is essential, preferably within Motor Trade.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
  3. A proactive approach to client service and business growth.
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a team and support junior colleagues.
  5. Experience with broking systems and diary management.
