Job Opportunity: Commercial Account Handler

Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler seeking your next challenge? Do you have a solid understanding of commercial insurance, particularly in motor trade? If yes, then this could be the perfect role for you.

At Jensten Motor Trade, we are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to deliver exceptional client service, support business growth, and oversee our account handler team. This role offers a great opportunity to advance your career within a dynamic and expanding insurance brokerage.

We are a leading provider of specialist, exclusive, and cost-effective insurance products, committed to outstanding service. You will work closely with our team in Bexleyheath, with the possibility of hybrid working after training.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Present and offer insurance solutions, including policies and risk management options, to secure renewals.
  2. Support team performance through regular communication with colleagues and managers, raising concerns and proposing solutions.
  3. Achieve or surpass income retention and policy count targets.
  4. Understand clients' business operations, opportunities, risks, and their approach to risk management and insurance.
  5. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations such as FCA.
Candidate Profile:

You should possess excellent communication and written skills, with a keen eye for detail. A desire to develop professionally and a proactive attitude towards client service and business growth are essential. You will also have:

  • Essential: Commercial insurance experience, preferably within Motor Trade.
  • Strong technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to client servicing and business development.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and support junior colleagues.
  • Experience with broking systems and diary management.
