About The Opportunity

As our Account Executive France (f/m/d), you’ll drive Contentful’s growth by leading the end-to-end sales process with our top-tier clients. You’ll be instrumental in driving adoption and engagement, finding new revenue opportunities, and creating customer enablement initiatives within a few named accounts. You’ll work closely with our partnership and customer success teams in leading a consultative sales process by speaking the language of both professional developers and business leaders, primarily in the French territory.

What to expect?
  1. Work with our cross-functional sales team to help drive new and existing Customers to different Contentful capabilities and products.
  2. Prospect and develop new business opportunities across your dedicated territory. Identify suitable target accounts and execute outbound strategies to drive pipeline. Position, negotiate, and close expansion opportunities with existing customers.
  3. Meet quarterly and annual sales goals by developing an account strategy and pipeline, overseeing internal and client processes, maintaining sales reports, developing market and competitor knowledge, delivering presentations to Customers, and creating sales proposals.
  4. Collaborate closely with our Partnerships team to develop our Partner motion in the French market.
  5. Oversee RFI/RFQ requests with Contentful internal and Customer teams.
  6. Refine and evolve our "land-and-expand" model in collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams.
  7. Seek to identify the digital experience problems of prospects and customers while aligning the ROI of Contentful with those difficulties to ensure a value-based selling approach.
  8. Work closely with Solution Engineers to uncover technical problems and opportunities.
  9. Develop proposals, position complex pricing structures, and negotiate contracts and deal-closing requirements efficiently.
  10. Work closely with Customer experience & marketing teams to ensure that best practices of Contentful are shared and implemented at the respective Customers.
What You Need To Be Successful
  1. Minimum 2-4+ years of experience working with a technical SaaS/Martech platform
  2. Minimum 1-2+ years of individual quota carrying experience, consistently being a top performer (top 20%)
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  4. Demonstrated the ability to close $60-100k opportunities to companies up to $1b in revenue.
