Job summary

Yorkshire Education Group is seeking a Systems Support Officer to join the Business Systems team at Wakefield. You will support, administer, and develop College business systems and applications, and train users in their effective operation.

You will assist staff and students with the College’s VLE and eLearning technology, providing analysis and advice to improve business processes and system reliability. A methodical, communicative, and proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to level 3 or above in a Business or IT related subject.
• GCSE English A*-C/9–4 or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths A*-C/9–4 or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Methodical approach to tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance, analysis and advice to staff with regard to College business systems
• Developing applications and systems ensuring they meet the College’s business needs
• Provide assistance and support to staff and students with regard to use of the College’s VLE and associated eLearning technology
