Job summary

COLLEGE OF WEST ANGLIA is seeking a Sous Chef to join our Catering team in Kings Lynn. You will support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors.

This role focuses on supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring the catering operation runs efficiently and cost-effectively. 37 hours per week, term time plus one week, with an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

• Lead in Head Chef’s absence and supervise kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Deliver nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors.
• Support cost-efficient catering operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the College kitchen.
• Lead and motivate kitchen team and take the lead in Head Chef’s absence.
