Job summary

Royal Mail in Salford is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. The role is 20 hours per week, across 5 days in 7, with a 14:30–18:30 shift and some weekend work. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, building relationships with customers in your local area.

A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and the ability to pass a driving assessment are required. The role is outdoors, active, and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 20 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 14:30/18:30*

About You

• Reliable and self-motivated
