Job summary

Royal Mail Knutsford Delivery Office is seeking a delivery driver to sort letters and parcels, delivering by van and on foot while building relationships with customers. The role is 30 hours per week across Monday to Saturday with a rotating shift and weekend work, performed in all weather conditions.

You need a full manual UK driving licence, fitness for long walks, and the ability to pass a driving assessment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.

Location: Knutsford Delivery Office, WA16 8AA
Job type: Permanent contract
Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 30.00 hours per week – working 5 days in 6 across Monday - Saturday – 08:30/15:00*Looking for a delivery driver job where you can stay active, connected to your community, and enjoy great benefits? About You

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
