Job summary

Lineage’s Heywood site is a flagship automated cold storage facility pivotal to the UK food supply chain. We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to guide a team of operatives in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely order dispatch.

You will lead shifts, coordinate resources, monitor stock integrity, and resolve issues promptly to maintain continuous operations in a high-tech, food-grade facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in coldstore or temperature-controlled environment.
• Experience with pick operations within a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Leadership and team development mindset.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring safety, performance and efficiency targets.
• Oversee daily coldstore operations including pick processes to maintain accuracy and schedule.
• Manage shift plans and resource allocation to keep workflows smooth.
• Monitor inbound/outbound movements, stock accuracy, and product integrity.
• Operate and coordinate with material handling equipment (MHE) to avoid downtime.
• Foster cross-department communication and continuous improvement.
• Address team concerns and support a safe working environment.
