Job summary

O-I is seeking a Cold End Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence at management level. You will oversee all Cold End engineering services to enable automated quality inspection and packaging facilities, while leading safety, training and performance improvements.

You will manage equipment, workshops and stores, coordinate job changes, and ensure engineering support aligns with production targets. Strong leadership, communication and a passion for continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising or leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and people-leadership skills.
• Ideally background in packaging or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cold End inspection and palletisation equipment, bottle conveyors and return cullet systems.
• Execute job changes as required to maintain production flow.
• Manage Cold End engineering workshops and related stores.
• Ensure provision of equipment or services to users to meet objectives.
• Organise and manage departments, including onboarding and ongoing training.
• Review subordinates' performance to ensure targets are met.
