Job summary

Endoline Automation is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in designing and developing market-leading packaging machinery.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on design, mentoring six engineers across Electrical, Mechanical, and Automation disciplines to deliver innovative and commercially viable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in mechanical design of industrial machinery or automation equipment.
• Proven people management or engineering leadership experience.
• Experience managing activities across multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience using 3D CAD design software including SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the engineering team across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines.
• Oversee mechanical design and development of bespoke packaging machinery and automation systems.
• Review engineering drawings, calculations, and design specifications.
• Provide problem solving support during design, build, commissioning and installation.
• Collaborate with project management, production and sales to align deliverables with timelines and budgets.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, high-performing engineering culture.
