Talosats Careers is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Cookstown store to oversee daily coffee shop operations, drive team performance and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager, train staff, manage inventory, and support sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a supervisory role in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within hospitality (coffee shop/cafe preferred).
• Hands-on leadership with strong customer service focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and lead baristas during shifts to maintain high service and product quality.
• Train new hires on barista skills, coffee preparation, POS systems and shop policies.
• Motivate and coach team; assist in creating staff schedules for peak hours.
• Manage day-to-day operations including opening/closing procedures and store presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, place supplier orders, and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Oversee cash handling, till balancing, and daily bank deposits.
• Assist with reporting on daily sales and KPIs to manage labour costs and expenses.
