Job summary

Matthew Algie & Company Limited in Glasgow invites applications for a Parts Refurbishment Technician. Join a team dedicated to quality refurbishment of equipment, adhering to health and safety standards and achieving departmental targets.

The role is full-time, based at our Head Office in Glasgow, offering 39.5 hours per week with standard Monday–Friday hours. Salary £27,626.30 per annum with a competitive benefits package including pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Experienced in use of hand tools.
• Experience of working in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
• Experience of working in a repair centre environment.
• Experience on coffee machine repair.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishment of machine sub components to the highest standards for use in the refurbishment of various machines in the repair centre.
• To pass quality checks carried out by Technical and Q&A department.
• Processes to be monitored and improved if required.
• Performance to agreed targets should be aimed for and will lead to grade promotions.
