Are you an experienced crop production professional who enjoys sharing your knowledge and helping others grow in their careers?
You may currently work on an arable farm, in agronomy or in another crop production role, perhaps as a farm manager, supervisor or specialist. You’ll bring at least three years of relevant industry experience, strong practical knowledge and the ability to explain your work clearly to people at different stages of their careers. You may already train or assess apprentices, or you may be ready to take your industry experience into education.
As a Coach and Assessor in Crop Production, you’ll help apprentices develop the knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours they need to succeed. You’ll plan engaging learning, assess progress, give useful feedback and prepare apprentices for their end-point assessment. You’ll also work closely with employers, supporting them throughout the apprenticeship and building relationships that create new opportunities.
At Bishop Burton College, you’ll join our Services to Business team, which works with employers to provide apprenticeships and training shaped by industry needs. This is an opportunity to stay connected to crop production while making a lasting difference to the people entering it. If you’re organised, confident working with employers and motivated to see apprentices achieve their potential, we’d like to hear from you.
