Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Havant is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a precision engineering team. You will program, set and operate Siemens-controlled 2-3 axis CNC turning machines to produce small-batch, high-precision components.

You will read engineering drawings, select tooling and optimise machining processes, working to tight tolerances with a focus on quality. Overtime available at 1.33x and a Monday-Friday schedule.

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday | Flextime

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join an established precision engineering business in the Havant area.

The role involves programming, setting and operating Siemens-controlled 2-3 axis CNC turning machines, producing a varied range of small-batch, bespoke and precision components from small to large sizes.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Produce one-off and small-batch components
• Work to tight tolerances and quality standards
• Select tooling and optimise machining processes
• Machine a variety of materials including titanium, stainless steel and plastics

• Confident setting and operating CNC lathes
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Good knowledge of tooling and machining processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Loads of overtime 1.33x
