Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training is recruiting a CNC Turner/Programmer for a permanent role in New Shop in Romsey, UK. The team produces precision components for aerospace, oil & gas, and marine sectors.

The candidate will join a skilled engineering group, programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to tight tolerances. The role requires interpreting drawings, setting tooling, making offsets, and performing quality checks throughout production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong programming and setting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience producing precision, tight-tolerance components.
• Good understanding of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
• Fanuc programming experience would be beneficial.
• Aerospace or other high-precision engineering experience would be advantageous.

Hours: 39 hours per week Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm

Friday: 7:30am–12:30pm
