Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training is assisting a renowned precision engineering company in Birmingham to hire a skilled CNC Programmer Turner with Fanuc experience. The role is based on site with core hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am–4.00pm and Friday 7.30am–3.00pm, about 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Programmer Turner with Fanuc experience.
• Proficient in programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres.
• Experience in subcontract manufacturing environment preferred.

• Carry out CNC turning, programming, and setting/operating.
• Work on vertical and horizontal lathes and perform inspection checks.

£18-£22 per hour (exclusive of overtime 1.5x)

Exciting new opportunity to join a renowned precision engineering company who design, manufacture and assemble precision components for numerous sectors including aerospace and automotive are looking for experienced CNC Programmer Turner with Fanuc experience to join the growing team.

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Programming Fanuc turning centres in a subcontract environment
• Carry out CNC Turning and Programming / CNC Setting Operating
• Work on vertical and horizontal lathes
• Carry out inspection checks using measuring equipment
