Workforce Staffing in Kensworth is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join an AS9100 accredited precision engineering team specialising in motorsport, aerospace and medical components. The ideal candidate will set, program and run CNC lathes with meticulous attention to micron-level accuracy.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with experience using CAD/CAM (OneCNC preferred) and Haas/Fanuc controls. Overtime and a supportive environment are part of the opportunity.

Competenze

• Experience turning CNC lathe work and setting/operating CNC turning machines.
• Proficient CAD/CAM skills with ability to interpret 3D models.
• Familiarity with Haas or Fanuc control systems and troubleshooting.

Mansioni

• Program offline using CAD/CAM, set up and run CNC turning machinery.
• Operate Haas/Fanuc controls to manufacture parts.
• Ensure consistent quality and meet delivery milestones.

About the Role

Our client are an AS9100 accredited company, that has been providing forward thinking, modern precision engineering for over 50 years. They specialise in motorsport (F1), aerospace, and medical precision engineering. They are seeking an experienced CNC turner to join their established team. The ideal candidate will be seeking a career and growth position within our forever growing business. They will need to be a strong team player. This role will require a highly skilled individual that can set, program, and run CNC lathes. Their communication skills should be excellent.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to program (offline using CAD/CAM- ideally OneCNC), setup and run CNC turning machinery
• Ability to use Haas/ Fanuc controls
• Ensuring consistent quality
• Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met
• Working to microns
• Batches of around 20 off
• Working with stainless steels and titanium

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to take a 3D model then turn it into a program
• CAD / CAM essential
• Extensive experience in turning is essential
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organisational skills ? forward thinking approach
• Using CMM (Desirable)
