This is an established and highly regarded precision engineering business specialising in the manufacture of complex, specialist components and precision tooling for demanding industrial sectors.
Working with challenging components and tight tolerances, the business has built an excellent reputation for quality, technical expertise and high standards of workmanship.
The company offers a friendly and supportive working environment where skilled engineers are genuinely valued. For the right person, there is also the opportunity to develop your skills and progress within the business.
We are looking for a highly skilled and confident CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator to join the team.
This is not a straightforward production role. The company works predominantly on specialist, small-batch components, meaning you will be heavily involved in programming, setting and operating CNC lathes, with a significant amount of programming required both online at the machine and offline.
You will need to be an experienced engineer who is comfortable working from engineering drawings, understanding complex components and taking ownership of your work from programming through to finished inspection.
The successful candidate will be an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator who is confident working with specialist components and small-batch production.
You will need to be someone who can think for themselves, solve problems and confidently programme and set machines, rather than simply operating established programmes.
