Job summary

Protec Group Ltd in Warwickshire is actively seeking an experienced CNC Turner/Setter/Programmer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to manufacture precise components in a hands-on environment.

We offer a permanent, full-time position with a salary up to £40,000 DOE, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, a pension contribution, overtime when required, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning experience within precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience setting and operating twin-spindle CNC lathes.
• Strong Fanuc programming experience directly at the control.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Good knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Experience with Doosan Puma SY2000 twin-spindle lathes would be a significant advantage.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Setter / Programmer to join the engineering team at Protec Group Ltd in Warwickshire.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can confidently set, operate and programme CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality precision components.

What we're looking for:

• Proven CNC turning experience within precision engineering or manufacturing
• Experience setting and operating twin-spindle CNC lathes
• Strong Fanuc programming experience directly at the control
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
