Description du poste

Step into a rewarding opportunity with a clearly defined career pathway in precision engineering. This CNC Turner role is ideal if a hands-on, quality-focused mindset is what drives day-to-day performance, and if pride in accuracy and safe working practices matters. With access to modern machining methods, the chance to contribute to continuous improvement, and the opportunity to produce precision components to drawing and production requirements, the CNC Turner position offers both stability and real professional momentum.

What You Will Do:
  • Set and operate CNC turning centres to manufacture components to specification
  • Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and work instructions with confidence
  • Select tooling, set offsets, and make programme adjustments where required
  • Inspect finished components using appropriate measuring equipment and record results accurately
  • Identify and resolve machining or quality issues quickly to protect production output
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area while supporting continuous improvement
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong setting and operating skills on twin spindle CNC lathes
  • The ability to programme CNC lathes directly at the control using Fanuc (essential)
  • Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and machining fundamentals such as cutting tools, speeds, feeds and methods
  • Competence using micrometres, verniers, bore gauges and other inspection equipment, with a careful and quality-focused approach
  • Experience operating Doosan Puma SY2000 twin-spindle lathes would be highly advantageous. Experience with offline programming, lean manufacturing or machining challenging materials would also be beneficial.

This CNC Turner role sits within a specialist manufacturing environment where quality, consistency and continuous improvement are at the heart of day-to-day operations. Production is aligned to ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements, meaning expectations are clear and work is guided by reliable processes. If pride in delivering precision output and a customer-focused attitude are natural strengths, the CNC Turner position provides the platform to make a tangible impact through QMS integrity, problem-solving, and performance reporting. The engineering team is also supported by a culture that values innovation and improvement suggestions, including practical ideas that strengthen efficiency and process.

Location:

The CNC Turner role is based in Warwickshire, supporting precision manufacturing at a site offering a stable, quality-led working environment.
