Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator for a precision engineering employer in Kidlington. You will program, set and operate multi-axis lathes to manufacture components from customer drawings with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has strong Fanuc controls experience, reads engineering drawings and maintains quality through accurate inspections. This role offers a supportive team, regular hours, on-site parking and a pension.

CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to customer drawings and specifications
• Carrying out manual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Working with a range of metals and engineering materials
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following workplace procedures
• Operating multiple machines where required

CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
• Good knowledge of Fanuc machine controls
• Experience manufacturing high-precision components to fine tolerances
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• A reliable team player with a positive and professional attitude

CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
• 20 days' annual leave, increasing to 25 days after one year's service, plus bank holidays.
