10 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a CNC Setter-Operator / Apprentice-Trained Engineer based in Leeds (LS12). The role offers an hourly rate of £16.12 with a 25% shift allowance (£20.15 per hour) and double-day rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Tool & Cutter Grinder would be a big advantage.
• An apprentice-trained engineer with a strong background in another engineering discipline.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop specialist grinding skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC tool and cutter grinding equipment.
• Support manufacture of precision cutting tools and drill bits.
• Apply engineering knowledge within a specialist manufacturing environment.
• Work to high standards of precision, accuracy and quality.
• Develop skills in CNC tool and cutter grinding with training provided where required.
