Job summary

10 Recruitment are recruiting for a CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The role is permanent, full-time, with basic salary of £38,000 per annum. Overtime is readily available at enhanced rates, with hours Monday–Thursday 07:00–15:30 and Friday 07:00–14:30.

You will programme, set and operate CNC milling machines (Fanuc) on multi-axis equipment up to 5-axis, interpreting drawings and producing components to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller in precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong Fanuc programming, setting and operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and high quality standards.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling, speeds and machining methods; carry out setups and adjustments.
• Inspect components with precision measuring equipment and troubleshoot issues.
