Job summary

Leeds-based manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join their manufacturing team in LS12. You will operate manual CNC machinery to cut and process wooden boards, load materials, position and secure products, and check finished items for quality.

The role requires hands-on machining, accuracy to measurements, and a practical, safety-conscious approach to working in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operating experience is essential.
• Experience using manual CNC machinery, not just automated systems.
• Experience with wood, timber or wooden boards is beneficial.
• Able to load, position and move products manually with care.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual CNC machinery to cut and process wooden boards and products.
• Manually loading boards/materials onto the machine and positioning them accurately.
• Set and adjust CNC machines for different jobs and ensure products meet specs.
• Check finished products for quality and accuracy and maintain a clean area.
