Job summary

Tawakkul Ltd is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their team in Yeadon, West Yorkshire. This permanent role requires an apprentice-trained engineer with 6-8 years of relevant experience. As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will set and operate CNC turning centres while working closely with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.

The position offers a pay range of £16.00 - £18.50 per hour, with overtime opportunities available. Ideal candidates will have a strong manual turning background and experience in a sub-contract machining environment.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of minimum relevant CNC experience.
• Strong manual turning background is a strong advantage.
• Confident setting and operating CNC lathes from existing programmes.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning centres from existing programmes.
• Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Produce components for sub-contract customers across multiple sectors.
